Traceability Tools Navigator – General Users Terms and Conditions

A. Introduction

Welcome to www.ttnavigator.org(“Platform”). This Platform is developed and operated by Preferred by Nature F.M.B.A. (“Preferred by Nature”), with the support of grants provided by our project partners. The Platform builds a neutral, open-access platform designed to map, assess, and compare commercial digital traceability and monitoring tools used to support sustainability in supply chains. By using it, you're agreeing to these Terms, so please take a moment to read through them.

B. Your Use of the Platform

1. The Platform provides information about features available in different traceability tools offered by traceability tool providers (“Tool Provider”) that have chosen to engage with Preferred by Nature and profile their tools on the Platform. The Platform also enables comparisons between features of different traceability tools. This information is intended, among other things, to help you understand what different tools offer, how they work, and the features they include.

2. Tool Providers may voluntarily opt to undergo a verification process, under which Preferred by Nature verifies certain declared features. Tools that have undergone this process are identified on the Platform as having verified features.

3. You're welcome to browse and use the Platform for your own internal purposes. This access is a limited permission, and we may update, change, or even remove parts of the Platform whenever we need to. We also can't promise the Platform will always be available, error-free, or perfectly up to date, though we do our best.

4. Please use the Platform responsibly. In particular, you shouldn't:

   1. scrape, extract, mine, automate-download, or commercially exploit the content from the Platform;
   2. interfere with the Platform's security, integrity, or technical operations;
   3. use the Platform to harass, defame, or mislead any party;
   4. claim that Preferred by Nature endorses, certifies, or guarantees any tool or product;
   5. use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.

C. Intellectual property

1. Everything you see on the Platform, our assessments, comparisons, write-ups, analysis frameworks, graphics, and all related materials, belongs to Preferred by Nature or Tool Provider.

2. You may not reuse, reproduce, modify, or publish any of this content without our written permission. The trademarks, logos, and information you see on the Platform about the tools, also belong to Tool Provider and can't be used without their consent.

D. Services of third-party

We sometimes link to or mention tools, websites, or services run by third parties. These are outside our control, and we don't endorse or guarantee any of them. If you choose to visit a third-party website or interact with their content, you do so at your own risk. Once you follow a link, you're leaving our Platform, and different terms or privacy practices may apply. Preferred by Nature isn't responsible for the content, accuracy, or data protection standards of any third-party pages or services.

E. Disclaimers

1. All the information in this Platform is provided by the Tool Provider, based on its self-declaration, and is for general informational purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to present accurate and balanced information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, performance, completeness, legality, or compliance of any tool featured on this Platform, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Tools evolve quickly, and their functionality may change without our knowledge.

2. Nothing on this Platform should be taken as legal, compliance, technical, or other professional advice. You should always carry out your own due diligence or seek professional advice before making decisions based on the information provided here.
